When you see our MBF MemberCare logo on your next visit to a health service provider, you'll know you're getting better value from your MBF extras cover.
Not only have we pre-negotiated a maximum charge for most services from these providers, but you'll also have the certainty of knowing you'll receive back between 70% and 90% of that charge, depending on your level of cover. Any benefits you receive from these providers are subject to the terms and conditions of your chosen Level of Cover including Limits and Waiting Periods.

MBF encourages customers to make dental care a routine part of their lives. Depending on your Level of Cover, we'll provide you with 70%-90% of the charge back on all preventive and general dental services.

MBF believes that your eyesight is important and we want to help you achieve the look you're after. That's why we have not only increased the Set Benefits you receive, but we will also offer you higher Limits when you use a MBF MemberCare Optical Provider (at selected locations). Seek out the MBF MemberCare pharmacies - they offer competitive prices to MBF members for some of the non-PBS (private script) prescriptions you need out of hospital.

Gym membership fees
At participating MBF MemberCare providers, MBF members can receive at least 70%-90% of the charge back on gym membership fees, up to the Limits for Living Well Programs for your level of cover. Any benefits you receive from these providers are subject to the terms and conditions for your cover including Limits and waiting periods.
Remember, MBF can only pay a benefit for gym membership fees where the gym program concerned is intended to prevent or relieve a specific health condition or conditions and an MBF Living Well approval form [PDF, 40k] is completed by your GP or MBF Recognised Provider such as a physiotherapist, chiropractor, psychologist or occupational therapist. (Please note: GP consultations are not covered by MBF).
