If you only want to be covered for in-patient treatment and accommodation in a private hospital or as a private patient in a public hospital, there are four different levels of hospital cover to choose from, ranging from MBF Budget Hospital through to MBF Premium Hospital levels of cover. Some may help you avoid the additional 1% Medicare levy. |
You might only want cover for services such as dental, optical and physiotherapy. We call them 'extras' because they are services that Medicare doesn't pay a benefit for. MBF Extras cover will help you meet these costs. Please note, however, that extras cover on its own does not help you avoid the Lifetime Health Cover loading or the additional 1% Medicare levy. |
MBF Choices is an innovative new package for young singles and couples only with some great benefits, including up to 90% back on selected optical, physio and general dental services at MBF MemberCare providers. MBF HealthSmart package cover combines the benefits of having both hospital and extras cover (for singles and couples only). |
