Strong support for MBF merger with Bupa Australia

The resolution to approve the Scheme of Arrangement has been approved by a majority in number of members present and voting at the Scheme Meeting held in Sydney on 12 May 2008.

The result was as follows:

FOR the Resolution

• 98.33 % of votes;

AGAINST the Resolution

• 1.67 % of votes;

The Scheme remains subject to Federal Court approval at the Second Court Hearing. The Second Court Hearing will be held on 14 May 2008 at 9.15am at the Federal Court, Queens Square, Sydney NSW.
