MBF continues its expansion in the Hunter region

Leading private health insurer MBF has opened its doors to the company's second Hunter-based Retail centre at Stockland Green Hills, East Maitland.
MBF Sales Director Tony Wood said MBF had been looking after Australians for more than 60 years, and he was enormously excited about further extending the company's expertise within the local Hunter community.
"MBF currently provides health insurance to around 1.7 million members throughout Australia, and we remain committed to helping people lead happier, healthier, longer lives," Wood said. "We are delighted to be a part of the Hunter community and to be able to help local residents better manage their health, and that of their families."
He said MBF had been a proud and active part of the Hunter region for many years with another Retail centre already operating in Charlestown.
"This new centre is another step in our commitment to providing excellent service to existing and potential customers in regional New South Wales," he said.
"This centre will offer members the opportunity to purchase MBF products, but also to gain assistance with a whole range of service queries - or even just to talk to our expert staff about ensuring people have the right private health insurance products to suit their personal budget and circumstances," he said.
"At MBF, we truly appreciate that how you manage your health is one of the most important decisions you will ever make.
"Therefore, I invite all Hunter residents to sit down with one of our member service representatives to discuss how we can help you and your family with your health and care needs."
MBF's products and services include cover for hospital, medical, ancillary and ambulance services, as well as travel, life, car and home insurance, plus retirement planning and lifestyle management services - all of which can be individually tailored.
The Green Hills Retail centre will be open 9am - 4.45pm, Monday to Friday. Mr Wood said members could also seek assistance with their private health insurance needs via the telephone or internet.
Wood's continued by saying the company's member focus had resulted in MBF being recently announced as a national winner of CANSTAR CANNEX'S highest health insurance accolade - the Outstanding Value Private Health Insurance Award.
